Saturday, October 15th, at the Authentically Ajo Farmers Market from 9 to 12 and at the Desert Senita Community Health Center's Family Fun Fall Festival from 4 to 6.

Get Going, Get Growing

The 4G fundraiser has been doing well!

We have finished out first movie series in the Plaza with food sales. From local monetary donations alone, we have raised $1322, which has decreased the overall amount we are fundraising for. Thanks for all the community support at the movie nights and other events!

In addition to community support, the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona has graciously donated $3000 to our program. This has also decreased the amount we need to raise.

We would like to give a huge thanks to the people who have help with donations for our raffle: the Ajo Radio Shack, the Ajo Shell Gas Station, Cathy Hutton, the Ajo IceCream Parlor, Wendy Allen, Blanca Montes, and Susan Fonseca at bloom.

We also want to give another huge shout out to everyone who has already given to our campaign! Thank you all so much for believing in the Get Going, Get Growing Program!

Get Going, Get Growing

This past month has been great!

We have been doing a movie series in the Plaza with food sales. From local monetary donations alone, we have raised $875, which has decreased the overall amount we are fundraising for. Thanks for all the community support at the movie nights.

We would like to give a huge thanks to the people who have helped with food: Abby Morris, Liz Yon, Christina Vega-Zubiate, Mimi Phillips and Shanoa Noriega from Ajo Center for Sustainable Agriculture, and Catherine Ecker.

We also want to give a shout out to everyone who has already given to our campaign! Thank you all so much for believing in the Get Going, Get Growing Program!

We will still be hosting movie nights on Fridays throughout the month of August. The 26th we will be having a huge family movie night, showing The Sandlot. Check out our Facebook for other exciting events that evening. Stop by the ISDA Office in the Plaza for tickets.

We will also have food from our Food Partners and they will be serving Tepary bean sliders with chipotle mayo (all home-made) and watermelon agua fresca starting at 7:30 pm!
Also snow cones with fruit juice toppings!
Keep a lookout for our announcements for next months activities!
