Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! Not that any of us parents ever doubted it, but the past few weeks have shown us FOR SURE that our AES teachers and staff are SUPERHEROES!

04/28/2020

May 4-8 is Teacher Appreciation Week! Our teachers are working extra hard this year to ensure our students can continue their classwork from home, and remain engaged and excited to learn. The PTG would like to encourage all students to email your teacher (as well as any favorite specials teachers and other staff!) on Friday, May 8 to thank them for all they do. Upload a drawing, make a video, or just use your best writing skills to show them how special they are.

If you post it to FaceBook and tag us, we will gladly share your children's messages!

It’s officially up and on display! This lovely wall quilt is at the Acton Library. Come on in and support our local library; buy your raffle tickets for a chance to win! Tickets are $5 each or three for $10. The drawing is in September for the library's 100th anniversary. I also have tickets that can be purchased directly from me if you can't make it to the library.
We thank you Mrs. Emery and we appreciate all Acton staff!
Good luck to all my Acton friends today!!
Hoping the weather cooperates for our 3rd annual Souper Bowl Sledding Party! Bring your sled, a chair to sit by the fire and a SOUP donation for the Acton Food Pantry!
The Education and Cultural Affairs committee has been asked to weigh in on whether the state should mandate testing of school water for lead. As the lead sponsor of the bill, I am advocating for a sensible approach to testing based on the national 3T standard using protocols developed through a major/substantive rule-making process by the Department of Health and Human Services. You may contact the committee by emailing the committee clerk Jayne Deneen and ask her to share it with committee members [email protected]. Thank you, Senator Millett ([email protected])
The SOUPER Bowl is coming soon! I'm looking for a few volunteers...1 to hand out hot chocolate, 1 to help kids make snow cones, 2 safety supervisors near the fire pit. Please let me know if you'll help out. See you there!
Could we start something like this in Acton?
