I think most people would agree, that if the trade unions had taken Industrial Action last Tuesday at British Airways, huge service disruption and severe loss of revenue would has happened, with the company calling the trade union all sorts of names.

This year alone. The company have had many computer glitches, the Fly programs introduced was badly handled, and there have been many other systems failures. These problems have caused huge service disruption, cancellations and untold misery to many of BA customers! Countless tens of millions have been lost in revenue.

None of these issues have been the fault of a loyal workforce, none of these issues have been caused by trade unions!

I will leave it to the membership to see what they think instead ?

@Channel4News expose scandal of "watch list" glitch that caused the crash of Home Office computer system checking passengers flying in or out of UK. Andy Burnham MP Shadow Home Secretary has called for a inquiry to see if the UK National Security was breached. Other allegations in the programme say, that it was believed to be a contactor fault, and that someone on the no fly list did fly. Apparently the system was down for two days, and required the Home Secretary to be notified.
