AMIFELINS AMIFELINS est une association française qui a pour but la protection des guépards et des autres félins menacés ou en danger d'extinction.Elle entend sensibiliser le public sur la situation critique des félins et soutient des actions et projets engagés concrètement dans la préservation de ces espèces.

Elle collabore en particulier avec le Cheetah Conservation Fund de la Namibie (CCF) et Cheetah Conservation Botswana (CCB). L’association a été constituée en 2009. Elle a son siège à Puteaux (région parisienne). AMIFELINS is a French association which aims at preserving the cheetah and other endangered big cat populations by raising public awareness and supporting projects conducted in the field by other organisations. In particular, AMIFELINS co-operate with Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia (CCF) and Cheetah Conservation Botswana.

More Somaliland cubs confiscated. We have to work harder to address this on three levels:
* where are they coming from and how can we stop the source?
* How to break the chain and stop the middle (wo)men?
* Even with recent bans the cheetah cub trade is growing, How do we address the demand.

We are helping most with the first one... Estimating less than 1000 in the wild in Kenya, our wild cheetah population can not sustain cub off-take...
