The CENTRE FOR ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL INNOVATΙON - CESI is a Non Governmental Organisation created by a team of experts, entrepreneurs and academics, seeking to reduce poverty and promote basic human freedoms through successful business model innovation. CESI is based in Paris (France) and is linked with a community of partners in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.
CESI’s vision focuses on national and international collaborations that promote social innovation and growth of the capacity of the communities and local stakeholders – including small NGOs, global firms, public agencies and academic institutions.
Mission: CESI aims to address social and economic challenges at various levels, with particular emphasis on the development and support of projects, applications and tools in the field of social innovation, management and technology transfer.

#curiosidade Os romanos criaram o monumento tipo arco do triunfo para ser um símbolo de comemoração de vitórias militares. O Arco do Triunfo francês foi originalmente construído para enaltecer a grande vitória do imperador francês Napoleão Bonaparte na Batalha de Austerlitz, em dezembro de 1805. Empolgado com sua vitória triunfal, Napoleão prometeu aos seus comandados: “Daqui em diante, vocês voltarão caminhando sob arco triunfal”. Pouco depois, ao regressar à França em 1806, Napoleão ordenou a construção do Arco do Triunfo. A obra, no entanto, só foi finalizada 1836, devido à derrocada do Império de Napoleão em 1815, na Batalha de Waterloo. A obra foi oficialmente inaugurada em 1836, depois da morte de Napoleão, que ocorreu em 1821. Projetado por Jean Chalgrin, o Arco do Triunfo é um símbolo de patriotismo e motivo de orgulho aos franceses! ♥️🇫🇷
