Claims Conference (Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany)

Aron survived the #Auschwitz, #Sachsenhausen and #Mauthausen concentration camps and his message to Mark Zuckerberg is the ONLY achievement that Holocaust deniers accomplish is bringing shame and disgrace to the memory of Holocaust victims and hurt to Holocaust survivors. As a survivor, Aron kindly asks that you, Mark Zuckerberg, remove the deniers from Facebook because there is no denying the Holocaust.
The Claims Conference’s 2018 Holocaust Knowledge & Awareness Study found that while there were over 40,000 concentration camps and ghettos in Europe during the Holocaust, 45 percent of Americans cannot name one – this percentage is even higher amongst U.S. millennials. Aron survived three of those 40,000 camps. There is #NoDenyingIt.

Please watch and share Susanne’s message asking Mark Zuckerberg to have Facebook block/remove all messages that deny the Holocaust. She also gives thanks that General Dwight D. Eisenhower ordered the documentation of the horrors he witnessed upon liberation.
Susanne was a child of the Holocaust; she and her mother thankfully survived. Many in her family sadly did not. Facebook must not let those that practice hate by denying her history have a platform for their messages.
This is what General Eisenhower said in “Crusade in Europe” via @Remember.org:
“The same day [April 12, 1945] I saw my first horror camp. It was near the town of Gotha. I have never felt able to describe my emotional reactions when I first came face to face with indisputable evidence of Nazi brutality and ruthless disregard of every shred of decency. Up to that time I had known about it only generally or through secondary sources. I am certain, however that I have never at any other time experienced an equal sense of shock.
“I visited every nook and cranny of the camp because I felt it my duty to be in a position from then on to testify at first-hand about these things in case there ever grew up at home the belief or assumption that `the stories of Nazi brutality were just propaganda.’ Some members of the visiting party were unable to through the ordeal. I not only did so but as soon as I returned to Patton’s headquarters that evening I sent communications to both Washington and London, urging the two governments to send instantly to Germany a random group of newspaper editors and representative groups from the national legislatures. I felt that the evidence should be immediately placed before the American and British publics in a fashion that would leave no room for cynical doubt.”
There is #NodenyingIt.

Mark Zuckerberg: “This is not a fantasy; this not just pictures; that’s the truth. You MUST not allow Holocaust denial.” The last time Nathan saw his mother was in a transit camp in Belgium, in the city of Malines. From there he survived the Holocaust in a monastery.

Nathan is the 25th survivor imploring Mark Zuckerberg, via video messages posted on Claims Conference social media pages, to remove Holocaust denial from Facebook. Please watch Nathan’s story and share his message. #NoDenyingIt

About the Malines/ Mechelen transit camp from the USHMM Encyclopedia:

The first group of Jews arrived in the camp from Antwerp on July 27, 1942. Between August and December 1942, two transports with about 1,000 Jews each left the camp every week for Auschwitz-Birkenau. Between August 4, 1942, and July 31, 1944, a total of 28 trains carrying 25,257 Jews left Mechelen for Poland; most of them went to Auschwitz-Birkenau. This figure represented more than half of the Belgian Jews murdered during the Holocaust. In addition, German authorities sent several trainloads of Roma (Gypsies) from Mechelen to Auschwitz later in 1943 and in early 1944. #NeverForget #NeverAgain

After witnessing the burning of the synagogues during Kristallnacht in 1938, Jerry escaped to Shanghai, a city which, by the time World War 2 broke out, more European Jews had taken refuge in than in any other in the world. However, at the urging of the Nazis, by 1943 the Jews in the city were forced into the Restricted Sector for Stateless Refugees in the Hongkou district, an area which would become known as the “Shanghai Ghetto.”

Jerry was born in 1929 in Germany. Nine years later he was running for his life. Mark Zuckerberg, Jerry’s childhood is not to be debated and he urges Facebook to remove all Holocaust denial messages.

Please share this video and join Jerry, his fellow survivors and the Claims Conference in asking Mark Zuckerberg to remove the hate that is Holocaust denial from Facebook. There's #NoDenyingIt.

Mark Zuckerberg, “It’s time,” Jakob says, for Facebook to remove Holocaust denial. Born in a detention camp on the Isle of Rab in the former Yugoslavia, Jakob lost more than 50 family members during the Shoah.

Jakob is the 23rd Holocaust survivor to partner with the Claims Conference in asking Mark Zuckerberg that their histories NOT be erased. Now, “it is time” for Facebook to act, as the platform will remain after the survivors are gone. They are the final witnesses to the horrors of the Holocaust; remove the deniers before there are no survivors left to dispute their hateful claims.

At her father’s hand, Charlotte, as a young girl, saw her community synagogue burn down. She survived the Holocaust separated from her family alone on a farm in Franconia. Among Charlotte's many family members murdered by the Nazis was her beloved grandmother. These experiences had a deep, overshadowing impact on her life. Mark Zuckerberg, those who deny these facts deride her suffering and loss; remove Holocaust denial from Facebook. There is #NoDenyingIt

His father had been murdered by the Gestapo during the Holocaust and upon being liberated, Michael’s mother wrote to her best friend, who had escaped aboard. She reported their family members and old friends were not alive anymore, and, with their property taken, that she did not know where Michael, his sister and she were going to live.

Michael’s message to Mark Zuckerberg is that something as horrific and unimaginable as the Holocaust did happen and people cannot deny that truth. Facebook must remove statements denying that he lost almost his entire family, and all of his friends, and other facts surrounding the murder of 6 million Jews during the Shoah, because, as Michael says, Holocaust denial is an outright lie. There is #NoDenyingIt

Please watch and share Holocaust survivor Bronia’s emotional message to Mark Zuckerberg. No one who survived the horror that Bronia survived and lost what Bronia lost should have their history questioned. But it is – people deny her story – and now, 75 years after the end of the war, Bronia has made a video begging Mark Zuckerberg to “please, please, please, please! remove” the Holocaust denial posts from Facebook.

Born in Lithuania, Roza Girsh was forced into a ghetto at the age of eight. Four years later the Germans deported her to the Stutthof concentration camp. Roza does not know how she survived, but she did and is now a grandmother. 75 years after the war ended, Roza is asking Mark Zuckerberg to do his part and remove the denial from Facebook so that the Holocaust is not forgotten.

Stutthof, from the USMM Encyclopedia: Conditions in the camp were brutal. Many prisoners died in typhus epidemics that swept the camp in the winter of 1942 and again in 1944. Those whom the SS guards judged too weak or sick to work were gassed in the camp's small gas chamber. Gassing with Zyklon B gas began in June 1944. Camp doctors also killed sick or injured prisoners in the infirmary with lethal injections. More than 60,000 people died in the camp. #NoDenyingIt #NeverForget #NeverAgain
