Music on the brain | The University of Tokyo

A new study looks at differences between the brains of Japanese classical musicians, Western classical musicians and nonmusicians. Researchers investigated specific kinds of neural behavior in participants as they were exposed to unfamiliar rhythms and nonrhythmic patterns.

Trained musicians showed greater powers of rhythmic prediction compared to nonmusicians, with more subtle differences between those trained in Japanese or Western classical music.

Limited time Open Access! "Neurocan Contributes to Perineuronal Net Development".

Perineuronal nets (PNs) are matrix molecule assemblies surrounding neuronal somata, dendrites and axon initial segments in a lattice-like appearance. PN molecules are involved in many structural and physiological processes during development and in adulthood, suggesting a crucial role in normal brain function.

Neurocan, as one of the main PN proteoglycans, is suggested to control important developmental processes of neuronal tissue.

Sitting long hours on chair causes non-communicable diseases Date 29-3-2020 From Nalin Anthoni Pillai, Scientist To BBC World News –London U.K. My dreams are coming true again- already published in many of my papers Sir, I am surprise to see an article titled as “Working from home? Ditch chairs, squat more” appeared in ‘The Times of India’ dated 23-3-2020 stating “If you are sitting down to read this article, you may be doing your resting wrong, according to a new study of hunter-gatherer tribespeople and how they idle. The study finds that hunter-gatherers tend to lounge about almost as much as those of us in the developed world. This difference could have implications for our metabolic and heart health and also raises questions about how and why our style of sitting seems to be so unhealthy. It is something of a paradox that inactivity is associated with ill health. Rest seems as if it should be good for us. But study after study links more time spent sitting with increased risks for poor cholesterol, heart disease, diabetes and other conditions, even among people who exercise.” This I knew it earlier itself and I started to invent a Medical Instrument that paved way to relieve all the stress, strain fatigue, eye strain as well as body pain through the medium of light. This Medical Instrument I patented in the year 1998. Through this Medical Instrument I found long hours of sitting in a chair can cause numerous non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, stroke, diabetes, obesity, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s disease, renal disease as well as cancer can be prevented with the help of light. Same was also stated by a leading professor Dr. Ahmed H. Zewail who won the Nobel Prize for his invention in ‘Femtochemistry’ could open up new possibilities” appeared in a popular News paper called ‘The Hindu dated 23-10-2002 I have even published a paper titled as “Prolong sitting takes a toll on life is true!” can be assessed from this website “http://nalinsbrainresearch.blogspot.com/…/prolong-sitting-t… is.html Also displayed a paper titled as “Hands play an important role in the prevention of diseases” can assessed from this website http://nalinsbrainresearch.blogspot.com/…/hands-are-very-im… Also read a paper called tilted as “Sitting is the main cause for health hazard: Researchers” can be assessed from this website http://nalinsbrainresearch.blogspot.com/…/sitting-is-main-c… Now read my paper on “Global temperature causes deadly diseases” can be assessed from this website http://nalinsbrainresearch.blogspot.com/…/global-temperatur… Regard to doctors’ health a paper titled as “Global Brain Drain on Doctors’ Health- Part II” can assessed from this website https://nalinsbrainresearch.blogspot.com/…/global-brain-dra… Same Medical Instrument helps to prevent COVID-19 using the brain’s thunder bolt sneezing is so powerful like lightening waves occurs in the brain that can be visualize while sneezing. This kind of artificial lightening you have to work on my Instrument for three months. For this to happen you have to increase the level of voltage in the brain. After three or four months sneezing occurs three or four times a day not lasting 7 to 10 minutes excreting all unwanted material in the lungs and the brain through this thunder bolt sneezing. In six months times it automatically stop sneezing. Thereafter no cold or flu for a year or sometimes even for two years and you are free from all cold. Yes it can happen if I bath in cold water in winter season it starts sneezing again. Even now in the middle of February 2020 I started bathing in cold water when the day’s temperature rises to 33 degree Celsius I don’t sneeze at this day’s temperature but I cannot spend in AC room for more than two hours because germs arises from AC blower that time brain wants to kill the germ through sneezing and later it stops instantly. Regard to covid-19 I had recently published a paper on 22-3-2020 titled as “Why corona virus attacks people and why not other species?” can be read from this website https://nalinsbrainresearch.blogspot.com/…/why-corona-virus… Let this beauty speak for all cold catching people.
