Today, we are not travelling that far into the past. Only 3 years ago, IAPS was involved in the International Year of Light 2015! 💡 🔦
IAPS members volunteered at the Opening and Closing Ceremony! There were schools and excursions like Lights of Tuscany, in Italy, and the Balaton Summer School, in Hungary. And, for the first time ever, the #IAPSShoolDay took place!
Now, tomorrow, the #ISD2018 is going to be the 4th edition of this worldwide IAPS outreach event! And, did you know that 2019 is also going to be a memorable year?
It was declared to be the International Year of the Periodic Table and #ISD2019 is going to be another chance of celebrating another remarkable year, with the topic being Elements and Materials. ⚛️ 🔬 But if you think that is all IAPS is up to, just wait for more news... ;)

The Founding of IAPS - 1987 AGM
As a celebration of our 30th anniversary we will be posting items from the IAPS archive all week.
This video is of the historic founding of IAPS 30 years and a day ago. It was taken at the then called ICSP (ICPS) 1987 AGM. For those of you who had enough fun at this year’s 14 hour AGM don’t worry! It only took 2 hours to form the foundation of what IAPS is today!
