Last week our team and a few volunteers had the pleasure to visit two unique farms 🥬🧄 in Coburg, ON☀️

We met farmers Erin and Tyler from @foragersfarm - they are in their fourth season and operate a 62 person Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, plus sell at 2 local farmers markets🍓. They also grow/forage plants that they sun ☀️ dehydrate (using a home-built sun dehydrator) for tea blends, and they taught us all about it (pictures 1,5,6)!
.
Just down the road is Fifth Winds Farm which Henry and his family have been operating for 35 years. Fifth Wind also uses a sun ☀️ dehydrator (pictures 7&8), which they use for a line of beautiful home-grown herbal products (@purejoyherbalcreations )🌻 They have a very prolific permaculture garden that we got to explore! 🥬
.
Thank you so much! We can’t wait to return again soon 🍉🥬☀️
