Due to the increasing concerns of the Covid-19 virus, the centre will be closing as of 6:00 pm today until April 6th. The boxing club is closed immediately. This will provide some time to advise parents and our permit groups. I will be providing more direction later today. This is consistent with the schools and other agencies in our community. As you can understand, safety is our priority.

Cabbagetown Youth Centre presentation to Budget Committee-Jan 20th

Dear Board Members;

After another weekend of trying to put the presentation into a 5 minute overview, it is now completed. Thank you Blaine for making a million changes to get us to a great powerpoint presentation. This can now be used for other purposes.

A reminder this presentation will now go before budget committee on Monday, January 20th. I have requested three young adults who participated over the years at the centre also attend committee. It will be more compelling hearing from those who grew up at the centre and continue to work or give back.
